OK, so I've read through all these comments that seem to be months old. As somone who owns a single domain for his own business this issue has less of an impact on me than on others who have participated in this blog.
However, over the last couple of days, as I've tried to renew my domain, I've come to find out that it has been transferred to enom. I've also spoken with a Robert O'Neill, who is now the CEO of R'fly, and who has been VERY helpful in guiding me through this process.
The question I have is this: now that all the dust has settled, R'fly seems willing and able to renew my domain. Is it now safe to do this? Or should I transfer.

Tigress,

This is quite unusual that you are making vague and ambiguous statements on very old posts.

If looks very much like spamming behaviour. Please either provide more useful information on more recent posts (these are two months old) or you risk being blocked from the blog.

Another upsetting matter. I want to transfer my domain out from RegisterFly and its been protected by ProtectFly. When I try to disable this protecting the system refuses to disable. Tells me the country code is invalid.

Registrant: Contact is not valid for requested types to modify: Field owner country exceeds max length: 2.Invalid data for owner country code.

Its been almost two day trying get hold of them by phone. No luck anyone knows to get around this wall?

I made several attemps and then I got secure block out saying the my user ID is not the owner for this domain and records my IP address. Well go ahead I have nothing to hide. It will match with my company registered address.

I got only one more month before this domain expires. I need to get out from this place fast!!!!

HELP!!!!

Hi,
Thanks to this forums suggestion I am able to get an Auth code to transfer three domain names from Registerfly to GoDaddy. When I submitted the Auth codes to GoDaddy the transfer failed. Here is the responce I got regarding this from GoDaddy. Does anyone else here have suggestions on how to get your domains from Registerfly ? I tried to unlock my domains on their website but it doesn't unlock.

Support Staff Response
Dear Terry,

Thank you for contacting Online Support.

I am sorry, we are not able to transfer domains unless the Transaction ID and Security Code is entered. All domain transfers require a confirmation from the administrative contact email address, not all transfers require an Authorization Code.

If you have made updates to the domains, it can take up to 48 hours before the changes are made at the domain registry. Once 48 hours has passed, please reinitiate the transfers to send a new confirmation email.

Sincerely,

Jason P.

In regard to your comment that "Several registry operators have already agreed to by-pass the EPP protocol in an effort to help. "

Do you have any name of these registry operators so that I can get my domains the heck out of RF's hands?

Thanks,
Ken
