If you want to know about cyber security for CEOs, we have the report you need.
This week the British North American Committee released “Cyber Attack: A Risk Management Primer for CEOs and Directors.” [PDF, 1,372K] ICANN CEO Paul Twomey was a key architect of the report.
One thing is clear — every business, every government, every organization that uses the Internet in its day-to-day operations is vulnerable. Simply put, cyber security is no longer “one for the IT department.” Just as CEOs and Directors are responsible for ensuring that their Chief Financial Officers manage funds properly, they must now satisfy themselves that the Chief Information Officer has taken steps to safeguard the organization’s resources.
The British North American Committee (BNAC) is made up of business, labor, and academia leaders in the UK, US, and Canada who are committed to harmonious, constructive relations among their countries and their citizens. It meets regularly to discuss common concerns with invited experts and senior policymakers in an off-the-record setting, and its regular research and publishing program seeks to discover and disseminate potential solutions.
Both BNAC and ICANN want to hear your thoughts on cyber security, especially in the business environment. Please share those thoughts on this blog, along with any ideas you think will help counter cyber warfare and cyber predation.

Hello Sir,
We all know that the computer technology revolution has spread like a wild fire without any leaps and bounds. It is increasing its size each and every day. Many constructive minds are working day in and day out to meet the demand for soft ware and hard ware thereby improving the efficiency of the system and bringing it to the usage of the common man. Many International organisations were set up to regularise and bring into effective control of the usage of internet. The concentration is more on effective usage of the cyberspace.
Just like there are many constuctive minds around us, we also have many destructive minds doing their destructive activities with full concentration and networking around us.The working of the system ,and how the messges are transmitted is public and easily available for every one.Just like the computer usage has spread like a wild fire catching the attraction of every one so also there is every possibility that even the destruction would be large and may lead to mass destruction.
The threat of terrorism is not only for this physical world but it is also a threat to cyber world.
Now the problem is how to protect this cyber space.
Very recently in India few bomb blast have occured due to the terrorist activities. The point to be noted here is the terrorrist have used cell phones/mobile phones to load their bomb and by just a call made to that mobile number the bomb was blasted. We may think as to what is the connection between this attack and cyber space. Now majority of the service providers ie yahoo, google etc are facilitating the email in mobile phone.tracing or tracking a mobile phone is not a easy job.If a person wants to send his message by ultra violet radiation, then it totally effect the light rays that are transmitted to send a ordinary message. If a person sends an important false information(some president is dead) by using this ultra violet radiation and as the message is important every person opens his mail and the first thing the person may lose is his sight and with a click there may be bomb blast in all the areas where the message has been clicked.THIS WILL LEAD TO MASS DESTRUCTION.I am not a technical person but I am a laywer. My duty is to protect all innocent persons. So I am placing this little information which has raised in my mind as a doubt on security.

Why cyber security is not a business of everyone. It is not so interesting to think about all the time.
