Dear Fadi,

Thank you very much for sharing with us the ICANN view on the WCIT-12 conclusion.

This conclusion is a proof of your excellent work during this conference and your commitment to keep the ICANN open to all even to those who want to interfere in its work. I humbly like to congratulate you for that. It is a very good news to know clearly that the ITU has no desire to play a role in critical Internet resources. I hope it is forever!
There were or there was a desire from some governments like our government in Cameroon to control distribution of IP addresses within the country, I hope this clear statement of the ITU Secretary General will stop that desire.

From others views, It seems like the WCIT-12 was definitely about the ITU "controlling the Internet" but not the ITU "controlling the work of ICANN". Others I-organisations like the Internet Society was disappointed with the outcome of the conference and the content of the revisited ITRs. Definitely the consensus did not lead the WCIT-12. Can you share a little more your thoughts on that? I hope you will have time for that.

Thank you very much for your great work.
Best regards.
